CANCELLATIONS POLICY – KAYAK ADVENTURES
Guest No-Show:
No refunds will be issued for no-shows on the day of the activity if the booking has been prepaid.Late Amendments:
Amendments must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled activity. Changes requested within 24 hours will not be accepted, and the guest will be held liable for the full cost of the original booking.Same-Day Postponement Requests:
If a guest requests to postpone their trip on the day of the scheduled activity, a penalty fee of R100 per person will apply.Management-Initiated Cancellations:
Kayak Adventures reserves the right to cancel any activity or transfer due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to insufficient passenger numbers or unfavourable weather conditions.Weather Cancellations:
All weather-related cancellations are at the sole discretion of Kayak Adventures Management. Guests are required to report for their booking unless they have been contacted and informed otherwise by our team.Refunds by Kayak Adventures:
Should the activity be cancelled by Kayak Adventures, a full refund will be issued to the guest or the relevant booking agent.Third-Party Bookings:
All third-party booking agents (including concierge desks and booking offices) are required to collect and provide client credit card details at the time of reservation.In the case of a no-show or last-minute cancellation, Kayak Adventures will charge the full cancellation fee directly to the guest’s credit card.
Adverse Weather Conditions:
Bookings are fully refundable if cancelled by Kayak Adventures due to unsafe sea or weather conditions.
INDEMNITY
All passengers are required to sign an indemnity form for all activities they are participating in prior to departure of the activity.
If a guest refuses to sign the indemnity form, the guest will not be able to partake in the activity.
The indemnity form must be signed by a Parent/Legal guardian for minors under 18 years.
Any unaccompanied child 18 or under requires the indemnity to be signed by a parent/legal guardian prior to the activity.
CHILD POLICY
Age restriction: Min age is 10 yrs old (10 - 17 yrs should accompanied by an adult)
GENERAL
4 guests required to run a trip.
Management reserves the right to amend/cancel/add terms & conditions without notice.
All terms & conditions are subject to South African Law & Jurisdiction.
Persons are not permitted to jump overboard or/and swim without a guide in the water.
Management reserves the right to refuse admission to unruly passengers who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or any banned substances.
No alcohol may be carried onboard our vessels and strictly no smoking is allowed.
